Actress Khushbu finds herself in a fresh controversy. This time, her designer sari with images of Hindu Gods seems to have whipped up trouble. She has been accused by Hindu Makkal Katchi for disrespecting Hindu beliefs once again. Members of the party are planning for an agitation if she doesn’t apologize soon.Members of the Hindu Makkal Katchi have to launch an agitation if she doesn't tender an apology soon.

"The sari prominently displayed images of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna, dear to the Hindus, while its border had the images of Sri Hanuman, who was a bachelor.

This is not the first time that she has shown 'wanton disrespect' to Hindu beliefs. With her it has been a habit," HMK president Arjun Sampath said.

He added: "In a society like ours, wedded to religion and steeped in tradition, showing scant regard to religious icons can't be tolerated or brushed aside as personal liberty," he said.

The actress had worn the designer sari for a public function in Hyderabad. And, Khushbu has decided not to react this time. She says, “I am going to ignore the issue this time. They can be jobless; I am not.”she asked, when told about HMK's demand. "I'm not going to answer every Tom, Dick and Harry.

As a cultured lady Kushbhu should not disrespect other religion and create enmity between religions.  Kushbhu must learn to respect all religions and Gods as equal.

We think that Kushbu is doing this for self advertisement.

The Basic Principle of lighting Karthigai Deepam and the way of Thiruvannamalai worship.

Annamalaiyar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva, located at the foothills of the Annamalai Hill in the town of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu, India. Shiva is worshipped as Annamalaiyar or Arunachaleswarar represented by lingam, with his consort, Parvati in the form of Unnamulaiyamman.

The temple occupies a significant place in Saivism and is regarded as one of the five temples associated with the five classic elements of nature, called the Pancha Bhoota Stalas. The temple is associated with the natural element fire, called Agni and the presiding deity, Arunachaleswarar in the form of lingam is called Agni lingam. The temple is revered by the Tamil Saiva canonical work of the 7th century, the Tevaram, by Tamil saint poets called the nayanars and is classified as a Paadal Petra Sthalam – the temples reverred in Tevaram. It is believed that the 9th century Saiva saint poet Manikkavasagar composed the Tiruvempaavai in the temple.

The Karthigai Deepam festival is celebrated during the full moon day in November–December and a huge beacon is lit on the top of the hill.
